If we are to reach our campaign goal of $2 million, we need the support of every brother. Current IRS regulations allow only a portion of our project, those areas deemed “exclusively educational”, to be funded through grants from our Mu Chapter Foundation. A greater percentage of the project is deemed “non-educational”, which means there is a need for contributions that are not tax deductible to complete the project.

Therefore, only those donors committing $25,000 OR MORE, or who have a corporate matching opportunity, may consider the option to make their gift to The Mu Chapter Foundation, Inc. The Foundation is recognized under section 501(c)(3) of the International Revenue Code, federal taxpayer number 46-5667853. Gifts to The Mu Chapter Foundation are tax deductible.

Gifts payable to the Corporate Board (Mu Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi, Inc.) will provide the majority of the funds for the renovation project.. Contributions to the Mu Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi, Inc., are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes but are essential in achieving the goal of renovating and improving both the educational and non-educational areas of the Chapter House.

All pledges or gifts, no matter the amount, can be spread out over five years and paid at intervals that work best for you.

In appreciation, each donor pledge or contribution of $2,500 or more will be listed on prominently displayed signage in the Old Gal.
